In 1991, the auto glass industry was in the midst of rapid change.  Pressures from escalating costs and insurance companies demanding deeper and deeper discounts found many glass companies scrambling to keep their doors open.  Most began downsizing and  looking to aftermarket glass and cheap inexperienced labor as the answer to the dilemma.

It was that same year that founder and President, Robert Hittenberger looked closely at the opportunity that existed and opened the doors for business.  With over 15 years in customer service businesses, Bob saw that the answer to success was not to sacrifice quality and service, but to go against the tide and provide an even greater level of quality and service than was currently being offered.  He knew that OEM glass and experienced certified technicians would be the place to start.  By centrally locating and developing a fleet of mobile units, Best Glass began providing superior auto glass service to the outwardly expanding valley.

Shortly after opening for business it became obvious that due to the rapid growth in Phoenix, the residential and commercial glass markets were also being under-served.  With the addition of experienced management as well as licensing and bonding, Best Glass soon opened it's flat glass division.

In the past fifteen years, Best Glass has expanded as a full service glass  company to include complete window replacement, custom mirrors, heavy plate shower enclosures, slump and fused glass, commercial store fronts, tenant improvements, bullet resistant glass, electrically charged glass, high performance glass and more.   Most importantly we've added some of the finest, highly trained and experienced people in the industry.  Today more than ever, Best Glass is committed to staying true to the ideals that the company was founded on...
